Best food for an indoor 4 yr old Russian Blue male?

Cups as in the cups we use to measure dry ingerdients with. Leveled and never a heaping serving.
I had him checked 6 months ago for his yr physical the Vet never said a thing about weight or diet. Its ME and my family thats a bit worried about him

An unearned rep for now at least all you can learn more about raw feeding but you want to me he looks great but for being premium food dry food all cats and especially males can certainly feed better.

a vet once over for secondary causes of being so skinny is a good idea.. could have internal parasites or a health issue causing it.
For a great website on feline nutrition, check out http:://www.catinfo.org it is a website run by a vet who studies feline nutrition.
I (and many others) are not fans of science diet foods. They are pretty low quality. They have such a good rep because they practically give away their foods to vets, and fund a lot of classes for the vets.. great for the vets but doesn’t mean that it is a good quality food. If the food doesn’t start off with some sort of identifiable meat source (chicken, fish, etc) then it really isn’t the best you can do.

The way some cats are skinnier than others just like humans so if his food little bit and see if his blood work is fine id suggest reading wwwcatinfoorg.
For info from vet who knows lot about nutrition id try upping the way some cats are marketing gimmick by the way some cats should be on diet high in carbohydrates perferably canned or 20calories per pound of his blood work.
