Here’s the scenario: She’ll be all relaxed and start purring, so I pet her. She likes it and gets relaxed, but then she suddenly grabs me and bites the heck out of me. Often she will break the skin with her teeth. She’s 11 years old and has always been like that since a kitten. I realized yelling at her didn’t help, so I just try and take cues when she’s ready to do it. It’s a huge pain. Why does she do this and what does it mean? Believe it or not, she’s a great cat. I love her a lot and wherever I go, she goes. She’s also leash trained and is great in a car.
My mother always thought my cat was mean, but she’s really sweet to me (outside of the bloody bite marks she gives me). She is like my shadow. I don’t know why because I’m really not that interesting.

Ok i just got a cat last week from a lady on craigslist, b/c she couldnt keep him…hes only a few months old and hes a russian blue…..Sometimes he can be sweet…but sometimes hes the devil….He will jump up for me to pet him and he will sit with me…but sometimes i go to pet him and he will hiss at me and swat me with his paws and try to bite me. I also notice him running back and forth through the apartment every now and then like he’s on crack. I also think he sprayed in my closet, because the stuff on the floor of my closet was soaked and stunk so i had to shampoo the carpet. He is also refusing to drink water…and I had him for a week now. This cat is soo confusing!!! Any help would be appreciated.

My two year old, russian blue cat always has a trickle of red or yellow goo stuck in his fur from his eye, and whenever he tries to rub against me, I always pick him up and put him back on the floor because I am a little put off by that, also he has quite alot of hair loss, whenever I pet him, my hand is covered with hair & crust or something like that.

Is there something wrong with him? Does he need to go see a vet? How can I pet him or look at him without feeling grossed out, I really love my cat.
He eats whenever he wants to.
&& he “goes” outside, so I never see his poop!
OMG, i am only thirteen! dont be sad.

ANYWAY, i keep asking my parents to take him to the vet, but they say its okay, i still cuddle him and give him things he wants/needs, i am grossed out and dont know what to do, but i dont neglect him, i just put him on the floor sometimes when im eating etc.
